Utility:
The utility is the actual delivery of electricity over the poles and wires to your home. They are responsible for the poles and wires, as well as responding to emergencies and power outages.
Commodity:
Your commodity is the Direct Energy service you have with us. For example, Electricity or Natural Gas. If you have both, you can select either one for registration.
Account Number:
This could also be a Utility Account Number, POD ID, Customer Number, Electric Choice ID or Service Delivery Identifier located on your billing statements.
Email:
Enter your email address that was used at sign-up. If you forgot your email address, then you will be prompted to enter your account number at the next screen.
User Name:
Your Username must be 8-25 characters in length.
Password:
Your Password must be 8-25 characters in length.
Confirm Password:
Your online account is being set-up. This can take up to 2 minutes.
